Our World Heritage Site
has some of the best pubs, resturants and cafes
in London, so when it comes to eating out in Greenwich you're spoiled
for choice.
Whatever you fancy, from
a traditional pub lunch in an historic inn to a
sophisticated dinner in a stylish setting, you’ll
find plenty of pubs and restaurants offering every type of food
from Indian and Italian to Thai or Vietnamese.
And you’ll find
something to suit your pocket. You can dine in
style in one of the up-market restaurants or have a quick
and delicious lunch stop at one of the great-value noodle
bars. On a fine day, you can pop into one of the sandwich bars to
create a tasty picnic for the park or riverside.
Many wine bars and pubs
have gardens or terraces where children are made
especially welcome.

Pie and mash
has been sorely missed in Greenwich since the celebrated Goddards
pie shop closed in November 2006. But pie lovers
the world over can now rejoice because the Goddard family have opened
a mobile unit next to Nat West bank in Greenwich Church Street.
Try the special - double
pie, mash and liquor. Open every weekend and on bank holidays
