| Getting
Here |
 |
Greenwich is just 20 minutes
from Central London and as it is in Zone 2 of London’s travel
network, you can get here by using river
boat, Docklands Light Railway
(DLR), train
or bus.
As the World Heritage
Site is such an important destination that we wish to preserve for
future generations, we ask you if possible to leave your car at
home when visiting. Parking is also limited.
To help you plan your
door-to-door route, visit Transport
for London’s journey planner - this will enable you to
devise your best route combining the underground, buses, the DLR,
river boats, walking and cycling.
PLEASE NOTE: The Docklands
Light Railway (DLR) is currently carrying out improvements to the
line which will allow greater capacity on the trains. There will
be some closures this year which means travellers may need to seek
an alternative route.
Passengers are advised to check before travelling either by calling
DLR customer services on 020 7363 9700 or online at www.dlr.co.uk
where the journey planner might also be of assistance.
