A Unique Range of Venues

Your wedding day is something you'll never forget as you bring family and friends together under one roof to celebrate.  Maritime Greenwich has a special collection of historic venues which are elegant and sophisticated whilst allowing you to do what you came for - celebrate!  We have something to offer whether you're looking for a small intimate venue, grand historic venue or stylish hotel;

 

Intimate Venues

  • Admiral's House is a beautiful Baroque building by the River Thames and part of the Old Royal Naval College.  It has a civil licence and caters for ceremonies and seated wedding breakfasts for up to 50 guests.
  • The Fan Museum is an elegant and beautifully maintained period home in the centre of Greenwich.  It can cater for seated wedding breakfasts for up to 30 guests.  The enchanting Japanese style garden provides the perfect back drop for memorable wedding photographs.

 

Grand Historic Venues

  • The Painted Hall is a truly majestic venue and part of the Old Royal Naval College.  It has a civil licence and can cater for ceremonies for up to 200 and seated wedding breakfasts for up to 480 guests.  The Upper Painted Hall is ideal location for a wedding breakfast of up to 118 guests.  The Painted Hall is guaranteed to deliver the wow factor that you've been looking for.
  • The Queen Mary Undercroft is situated beneath the Chapel and is a lovely light and airy space which can cater for seated wedding breakfasts for up to 200 guests or can be used as the after dinner party space in conunction with the Painted Hall.
  • The Queen's House is a magnificent 17th Century house with delightful views across Royal Greenwich Park to the Royal Observatory.  It has a civil licence and can cater for ceremonies and seated wedding breakfasts from 20 to 120 guests.  You can dance the night away in the vaulted former treasury which lies beneath the Great Hall.
  • The King William Restaurant is located underneath The Painted Hall and provides yet another historic space in which to celebrate with family and friends. It can cater for seated wedding breakfasts for up to 120 guests and can also be used in conjunction with Admiral's House as an after dinner party space.

 

Stylish Hotel Venues

  • Devonport House is a truly stunning Georgian hotel with spectacular views across Greenwich Park.  It has classically furnished suites and a civil licence. It can cater for ceremonies and seated wedding breakfasts for up to 82 guests.
  • Novotel London Greenwich is a stylish and contemporary four star hotel situated right in the heart of Greenwich.  It's elegantly proportioned rooms can cater for seated wedding breakfasts for up to 80 guests.
